Snow Code

NewsSnowClearance

Thank you so much to all of the many volunteers that have kept our priority community footpaths clear of snow and ice this winter. Riccall Snow Patrol has been a great success because of the determination, effort and community spirit of residents in Riccall.

Some of you asked this year whether you should help by clearing the path outside of your property - to assist in answering your questions about this, please read the attached 'Snow Code' - produced by North Yorkshire County Council

Farewell and thank you to Gary

Gary - village green 11th Nov 09

It is with great regret that the Council has accepted the resignation of it's litter collector, Gary Walker. Having spent 10 years, keeping Riccall looking immaculate, he will be greatly missed.

Gary leaves us at the end of March to be with his girlfriend in Lancashire and we wish him all the best in his new life 'over the border' and thank him for his hard work and effort over the last decade.
