On Thursday 21st April 2016 local communities are invited to join in the long tradition of celebrating Royal occasions by lighting the beacon to celebrate the Queens 90th Birthday. Ours was last lit on 4th June 2012 to celebrate The Queen's Diamond Jubilee. The beacon will be lit at 7.30pm and everyone is welcome and we are especially keen for any Riccall residents aged 90 and over to join us at the event.

Reporter Jeremy Buxton then asked about the history of the Pinfold before trying to solve clue 2.
