I moved up to Yorkshire from Bedfordshire in 1992 with my wife and young family to start a new job in North Yorkshire, and my wife I moved to Riccall in 2008 from Wheldrake. Our daughters, who have now left home, both still live locally one in Beverley and the other in Selby.

I am the group Safety and Environment Manager for a large UK based agricultural supply business, working throughout the Country and across the world. My wife works as a finance officer in York, and other than three years at University in Newcastle we have always lived in rural communities and I previously served as a Parish Councillor in the village we lived in near Milton Keynes.

Outside work I am a keen gardener and I enjoy walking, travel, eating out and the theatre.

I have recently been co-opted to the Parish Council and look forward being able to serve the community that I live in and make a positive contribution to our village and the environment we live in.
