The Riccall and District Resilience Team

Present defibrillator and CPR training event

Tuesday 25th April 1830 hrs at Riccall School

As you may be aware we now have three Defibrillators in the village, soon to be four at the Riccall school. The defib equipment is supposed to be self-explanatory. But there are several procedures and safe-guards that are essential to be aware of. The training will be given by a qualified team and is open to all groups from the village.

Please come along for an essential update. This training may be a life saver for you, your colleagues or family.

If your group or individually can respond with approx. numbers.

Thank you

Defibrillator training, including basic life support, will give you the confidence to act quickly and effectively if someone has a cardiac arrest. You will learn how to operate a defibrillator and how to perform effective CPR.

As simple as AEDs (Automated External Defibrillators) are to use, a few hours training is desirable and the more people in the community who can confidence training provides, the greater improvements we will see in sudden cardiac arrest survival rates

This device provides an electrical charge that stops your heart's abnormal rhythm so your heart can get back to a normal rhythm.
