My wife and I have lived in Riccall since 1984 having previously lived in Leeds. We have two grown up children both of whom attended Riccall CP School.

In October 2001 I was co-opted on to Riccall parish council and I would like to think that I have been and still remain an active member. I currently serve on the following groups, Admin and Finance, Traffic and Highways, Recreation, and the winter gritting / snow patrol, I also help out with health and safety matters as and when required. I attend the Beech Tree patient group when time permits. Aside from Riccall parish council duties but associated with both Riccall and Kelfield parish councils, I am treasurer of the local resilience group representing Hollicarrs, Kelfield and Riccall.

In my spare time I like to relax with my family, listen to music, and eat out with friends. I am a member of a local karate club and along with my wife, treasurer / secretary of Riccall badminton club. I enjoy various other sports both to participate in and as a spectator.
